art photography

application
my idea of what art is meant to be a photo that shows an artists perceptions and emotions through there work to share it with others it doesn't seem to matter what the photo is of. as long as it shows an item or person in the precess meaningful way that the artist has chosen to portray it.
Alfredo Consalez Nunez
is a Spanish artist. Presented here are current artworks about artistic digital photography, with Virtual Gallery, resources, and links.

techniques
The techniques are ways that every photographer/artist use tools to achieve the style and look within that photo or painting. The artist sets out to portray an image that captures there eye and translated into modern, abstract, contemporary, vintage themes to achieve a good piece of art. There are many tones used in the creation of a photo/painting - for example: Distance
, Brush/Strokes, Sephia, lightness and darkness - featured beyond the object in front of the audience.

content
Art photograpghy consists of many different elements such as texture, quality, style, colour. The surroundings can very, some people look beyond the pictures at the meaning of the images to understand why the images was taken or to see what emotions are being portrayed in the photo.

fashion photography

application
fashion photography tends to be a photo of a slim attractive female because the purpose is to show the clothes the person is wearing ever because the clothes are new or a new style or to fit a certain session or to show a selected item like a bag or neckless the aim for fashion is to sell of a stlye or choise of colour it even gets down to making people think what style of clothing should be worn to suit certain sessions and the difference between advertising and fashion is that fashion has a set clientel meaning only certain people are intrested in it and likly to view the photos taken so it doesent matter what the photo reveals but because of this fashion will not get advertised in clear site which means only people that want to see fashion photography will be the only people to vie it where as advertising focused on a much larger range of people and gets deplayed all over the place but will only show images that any age genre can view and th purpose is to sell a certain product that will be on display.

Serge Balkin

context
fashion is seen on tv, magazines, cd covers, internet, due to the effects fashion has on people all celebrity follow fashion because they have the money to get the top brand clothes and because of this every one else wants to have what they've got so people all over the world try to follow some ones style of clothing ever seen on tv or seen around the area they live in so fashion has taken over mostly every ones lifes which we see the effects of this in every day life.
techniques
one of the way photos are change in fashion is in a media studio alot of editing gets used to change a photograph to make the female look better by moving parts of the face, geting ride of bags and spots or to even inhance there breasts i think this is diseptive because it doesent show the real person i also think that the fashion idustry dont except people for who they are the photo is allways influenced by some one which makes the person look like some one else. they do this by make up and changing hair even wigs which takes away the element of it being real

portraiture

application
i think its the creation of a portrait taken to represent a person in most cases the shoot would be taken to show a emotion the person is expressing in different scenarios most photographers trys to capture an emotion that wasn't put on for the camera.
the portraits first created were of people rich and powerful expressing there power and the photo would have been influenced by how the person wanted to look rather than during the 60s portraits went in another direction because the photographer were trying to catching their people in moments when they are least prepared which showed a new side to portraits.
Diane Arbus focused her time on taken images of the unhappy side of life with portrait of dull face expressions, people at eases she was trying to show a real side of people not the put on face for the photo and he got recognized for it the family Matthaei ask her to take a family portrait which had happened every year in for the family and Diane's work didn't show smiles it was dull faces.

context
portraits are now used in every day life to aware a person about something for example company's use them to advertise on bill boards, posters, signs leaflets and one of the bigger uses of portraits is the Internet displaying them on practically every web site you go on and in other cases portraits and used for identity purposes like money has the queens head as well as bank notes and business use them to brand stuff so people are aware that its from there company

thechniques
in the start the portraits being created were of kings and queen which meant they choose the scene in which the shoot was going to taken how they look and what the portrait is meant to show for example to show the power of the person they would wear loads of gold and a crown and all that to influence the portrait but during the 60s photographers begain to just walk the street trying to get the right image

photo journalism

Application
Henti Catier Bresson was a very talent photo journalist also known as the god father of photo journalism he coined the term " the decisive moment" because the photos he captured were so precised down to the right second he all ways took the shoot at the right time never to soon or too late which showed a true meaning for the photo which was so apparent from his work, his first well known photo was taken in 1933 another key date is the date the leica camera was realised which was 1935
Robert Capa was the worlds greatest war journalist that ended up a celebrity because of his work he took a photo during the spainish civil war of a man getting shoot in 1936 he was known for droping in and out of war he also took a number of shoots of the world war 2 the most known photo's from that where down to him being on one of the first boats that landed on the beach he managed to take 4 films worth of photo but whilst they were being processed three and a half of them got destroyed.

Context
photo journalism was used it the early years in news papers to let people know about things and event for example talking about the war. it slowly progrested into a much large range of uses through out the years photo journalism is now seen every where for example on newspapers, magazines
Techniques
the leica camera was a big brake through I'm camera equipment due to being rather compact which helped him taking shoot because it was much easier to carry around and pull up quicker to get the precised photo and it was a very quite camera which benefited the user because it didn't distract any thing during a shoot being taken but the most importation thing about the camera was that it was the first camera with the eye lence on the left which mean one eye was able to free look around instead of cameras before then having the eye lence in the middle which meant you were only able to see through the lence and not see from your own eyes due to the size of the cameras as well
